“boyfriend material” by Young Friend

“Boyfriend Material” is a song about the ever flowing thoughts that come through your mind when starting a relationship. Young Friend shares an honest depiction of this feeling in his newest release. The lyrical journey is simply brilliant and really captures the deep emotion he was trying to convey.

Although the lyrics are heavy and provide a deeper message, Young Friend presents them in an upbeat way.

I loved this contradiction within the production and think it’s what makes the song such a success.
