“Borders” by Ethan Lease

Listening to Ethan Lease is like listening to the emotions of your inner conscious. His vocality is so pure and really speak to the feelings he is trying to portray. During the chorus, he adds in a layer of reverb to his own voice, representing the different levels of himself.

The lyrical journey is soothing yet still sending a monumental message about putting up boundaries with yourself. He speaks to the difficulty of finding the peace within the chaos.

His vocals lay in a bed of subdued guitar instrumentals along and nature sounds. This production choice really helps the listener fall deep into this song and feel safe within it.
