“Beautiful Soul” by Jo James will have you believing in a higher power….or deep, infatuated feelings for someone, somewhere (same, difference, right?). James expresses profound gratitude and admiration for his partner, who clearly has a transformative and positive impact on his life. The instrumentals include a background choir which breathes life into the song, and gives a holy, almost religious-like feel to it. The lyrics convey a message of gratitude not only for their partner’s positive influence, but also for the belief in a higher power that orchestrates meaningful connections.
