“Be A Ghost” by Lila Holler

Lila Holler starts off this song with a spooky beat that aligns well with the song title, which she brings back during the chorus. Just as the listener has no idea where this song is going, Lila drops her etherial vocals into the mix.

Her voice has that beautiful poignant feel that makes the listener just want to keep hearing over and over again. The range she shows with her harmonic rhythm, especially during the bridge, takes this already dynamic song to a new level.

The lyrics speak to a past lover that she wishes could just disappear. With poetic lyrics like, “For the most part / I’ve been doing well / Considering the past few years / You’ve been putting me though hell”, you can really feel this story like it’s your own. “Be a Ghost” is truly a beautiful and raw tribute to letting go of a toxic relationship. You’ll find yourself hibernating in this one.
