Terra Renae just released her cohesive and emotionally resonant 7-track debut album All I Have on March 14th, 2025!
This album is a powerful, emotional, and well-crafted first jump into a full body of work. It builds a signature sound with soft but full vocals, a generally moderate tempo, beautiful harmonies, and captivating melody. Every track included has catchy hooks and they build together into a narrative about love, toxicity in relationships, self discovery and growth, and refinding healthy love. The narrative that it builds is put together in a way that it seems to set a timeline together that’s easy to follow. This shows that a lot of thought was put into each track and how they relate to the rest of the album.
Though there are themes that run through All I Have, it builds a signature sound but also unabashedly breaks its own boundaries to keep things interesting. The opening track “Lights Down Low” works a bit more with strings than the typical synthy production style. But, it does well at introducing the explorations of love by expressing a heartwarming sweetness in a relationship. Overall, it’s one of the softer tracks, and it makes the next track, “Over and Over Again” more upbeat sound fit in with a great punch to pick things up.
After this pickup, it pulls back to the more moderate flow of “In My Dreams,” which then flows into “All I Have,” which holds that moderate flow at times but great energetic pickups. These tracks have a bit of a dancey sound, and they build together a narrative of experiencing lies and toxicity, a yearning for a past when things were better, and a need to either be able to grow or move forward with one’s life. This then builds into the next track “Stick Around” in which the main voice of the album states, “Here I come California, I’m gonna be a star for all of ya / But he swept me up like a hurricane / oh California you can wait.” Moving away from the more poignant tones, this one expresses a love that’s so deep it brings safety and a reason to stay. This track uses more string-based instrumentation in some sections to add some diversity to the sound.

“Safety Net” is the name of the next track, and is a phrase used in “Stick Around,” which plays into the overall cohesiveness. But, this latter track moves things in a different direction. Because of this, it shows that these tracks play into the same story. Except, “Safety Net” expresses having been held back from following one’s dreams due to fear. However, it also is a track of breaking free and running towards something better. The aspect of hope is pulled forward by the closing track “Party in the Sunshine.” This finale has an anthemic nature and is about moving forward to a new and healthier love, and it has a bit of a nostalgic dancey groove to it. This track ends with the line, “Everything Will Be Alright.”
This album does an amazing job at getting into the topic of love and its ups and downs. However, though it expresses a lot of feelings of pain and fear, it also gives an overall tone of hope. Also, it has a really great musical presence that plays into the narrative it tells well, but gives a danceability and pop sensation vibe to things.
