HDBNGR by 212ceilingface

HDBNGR by 212ceilingface has a unique underground Lo-fi pop vibe that will make you wanting more. This Chicago bred musician is an upcoming artist not to miss. He dubs his genre as “weird pop” and he has accomplished just that. It is weird in the best way possible.

This song gives a new name to bedroom pop, with enchanting beats and a unique song structure. You can’t help but think that everything blends together so imperfectly.

The lyrics that are intertwined in the song speaks to a journey through mental health with words like “touching the ground I’m banging my head/dancing at funerals/ I’m seeing red.” While the artist nods to a range of emotions, he ends with the words “all this time I spent away/ cant believe you’re still the same” signifying that the artist is finding solace with someone they love with the safety of being around stability while everything is changing.

It ends with a gorgeous unexpected vocal rift and helps you take in the magic of the past minute and fourty four seconds. Although a shorter song, it is sure to take you on a beautiful journey. This song is an ode to the Indie pop lovers out there.
