“Curious” by Ainjo

Contemporary R&B artist Anijo talks about her curious interest in women with her new music video, titled “Curious”, which combines her feminity energy with some dreamy aesthetics. We had the pleasure of interviewing Anijo, and here is what she had to say:

Q: Thanks for taking the time to interview with Music & Fashion Blog today. Please tell us who you are, what you do, and a little about yourself?

AINJO: My name is Ainjo! I’m 27 I live in San Diego. I’m active duty in the Military and I’m planning on singing my way out the Navy!

Q: Your latest EP “555” was amazing. 555 means positive change and new beginnings. What is your favorite track and why?

AINJO: My favorite 555 track is Deja Vu! The beat and the story gets me every time!

Q: When I hear “Curious”, the image that comes to mind is “smooth operator”. There’s a sensual and soulful melody. What was your vision for music aesthetics?

AINJO: I wanted Curious to sound dreamy. Somewhat like a lullaby.

Q: The Southern California region is where you live. How has it been as an artist to survive and succeed with your music?

AINJOBeing an artist is difficult! I’m also active duty in the Military so balancing all that out has been a lot. I’ve been balancing it all but it has been a lot! Getting support has been difficult but we will make it work!

Q:If you ruled the world for a day, what would happen?

AINJOIf I ruled the world for one day, there wouldn’t be homelessness. There wouldn’t be starving children. There wouldn’t be anymore third world countries. I’d also try and get drugs off the streets.

Q: I would like you to send a message to your fans.

AINJO: I want my fans to know that I’ve moved from a ship to a stage! Dreams come true and keep striving!
