“Most Important Man” – Lily Donat

Not everyone will get through life with picture-perfect relationships. Some will find themselves encapsulated with a person who is 100% wrong for them, which they know – but they can’t figure out how to shake them. An addiction they are aware of. That is what Lily Donat captured in her latest “Most Important Man.”

The first guy I ever let into my reality reminded me all too well of every moment within the confines of “Most Important Man.” This is especially true when she so brilliantly sang about wanting to tell those around her all the crap her partner does but at the same time, if she did…they would question why she was with them. I felt that in the core of my soul and while the flashbacks to that situationship were brutal to get through, this song was not thanks to grand grown people pop arrangements and Lily Donat’s vocal variety.

Lily Donat gave a lot throughout this song. It was theatrical at times, those lavish moments where she was able to take the lyrics to new heights. Then there were more traditional pop moments that will inspire listeners to want to move about where they stand. It was a pleasant mixture of pace that gave way to a song that never fell flat from start to finish.

“Most Important Man” is Lily Donat’s second single, following her debut from earlier this year, “Supernova.” Both are available on all major music and streaming sites now, so check them out today!
