“Where I’m From” by The Jankey’s

The Jankey’s present an emotional journey for their listener in their newest release. “Where I’m From” is a song about self reflection and owning up to your identity despite judgement. The vocals connect the lyrics on a deeper way by adding in harmonies and poignant production work.

This song has one of those classic indie-folk vibes and really stays true to the genre through and through.

I loved the acoustic instrumentation and soft moments in between the lyrical journey. A great pause for reflection for the listener.
