“Addicted” – Movie Night

Listening to “Addicted” by Movie Night for the first time, my immediate thought was “wow, this person is pouring out their SOUL on this track.” “Addicted” is a pop-rock song that has a dash of Americana sprinkled in the vocals, and it even has a nice guitar solo shockingly snuggled within the three mins and thirty seconds. Movie Night does a great job of outlining their pain in such a beautiful way, as they describe how their relationship is harming them emotionally and mentally but can’t seem to leave. The lyrics are a testament to their vulnerability, and their vocals does a excellent job conveying the passion that is embedded in the metaphors. If you are also struggling to break free from the chains of obsession and need a soulful alternative pop song to really release your feelings, then give “Addicted” by Movie Night a spin!
