When I first played “Alive” by Raven x Rabbit, I felt like I was listening to the end credits of a wholesome anime show where two childhood friends reunite in their later years. The crescendo in the instrumentals around the 1:30 mark definitely made my heart race a little more, mainly because I felt the passion emanating from Raven x Rabbit’s vocals. “Alive” is a indie pop sympathy that sweeps it’s listens into a voyage of self-discovery and adventure. Raven and Rabbit created a mantra of empowerment and hope guided by the promise of love and the prospect of brighter days ahead.
